Once upon a time, there was a boy named Duc, and a girl named Phuong Anh. They went to the same middle school but barely knew or even talked to each other.

Fast forward to 13 years later, while Phuong Anh was in Hanoi, Vietnam and Duc was in Seattle, WA, they finally broke their 13-year silence... through Instagram DMs (because apparently that's how all great love stories begin)

What started as casual messages quickly turned into marathon conversations that lasted days and nights, spanning time zones and sleep schedules. After just two weeks of virtual heart-to-hearts, Duc shot his shot and asked Phuong Anh to be his girlfriend. Phuong Anh, being the voice of reason, said "slow down, cowboy" – but they kept talking anyway, because apparently soul mates don't need official titles to know they've found their person.

Months of video calls and endless conversations later, something shifted. After that, Phuong Anh got accepted to the Master program in Boston and Duc relocated from Seattle to NYC so they could be close to each other.
